Karen Lynne Gallery is excited to introduce the work of two artists in this months. Russian born Oleg Neishtadt and American Michael Patterson. Oleg's work is highlighted by his monumental painting "dance of Death". Over fourteen feet, the haunting work captivated the viewer with its dramatic narrative story. Based on an artistic motif from the Renaissance, the painting contains compelling, memorable figures that are hard to forget. An African family, an American soldier, an Arabian woman, a banker and his power wife (the banker being mesmerized by a gay poser), an older billionaire embracing his gold digger lover and finally a young yuppie woman entwined with a hip hop rapper. All the subjects are being led by a skeletal musician walking amongst the buildings of New York, Paris and Rome. This painting must be seen to be believed!

Michael Patterson's work is elegant, sophisticated beach scenes that incorporate beautiful feminine figures, soft, warming sunlight and gorgeous, tranquil beach and ocean backdrops. Slightly reminiscent of Milton Avery and Graham Nixon, these appealing, stylized figurative landscapes are soothing and inviting. Originally from Hudson, New York, Michael's work is truly accessible to collectors and art lovers.

The show will remain up through the middle of May.
